Seeking an experienced Image Processing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in signal and image processing, with a proven track record of designing and implementing high-level algorithms for Electro Optical systems.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Designing, developing, and validating high-level image processing algorithms for EO systems;
* Implementing capabilities such as object detection, classification, and tracking;
* Modeling, simulating, and testing algorithms using MATLAB and Python;
* Collaborating with systems engineers and optronics experts to integrate solutions;
* Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, Signal Processing, Physics, or related field;
* 5+ years' experience in image/signal processing, ideally in defence, aerospace, or research;
* Strong foundation in signal and image processing;
* Proficient in MATLAB and Python;
* Experience with EO/IR image detection and classification, object tracking, and motion prediction;
* Familiarity with EO/IR sensors, gimbals, or UAV payloads.
Desirable Qualifications
Prior experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is highly desirable. Additionally, understanding of embedded or real-time implementation constraints would be beneficial.
