Full time or Part Time available (4 days a week 0.8 FTE).
About the role
This is a pivotal role in a lean HR team.
Key Responsibilities
Review fortnightly payroll via our external payroll supplier, Employment Innovations.
Perform payroll reconciliations for all leave accruals, tax, superannuation, and workers compensation accounts.
Provide periodic reports to Senior Management around leave taken and overtime paid, as well as other ad hoc reports.
End to end recruitment – placing advertising, telephone screening, arranging interviews, conducting VEVO checks, referencing, police checks, notifying existing staff of internal opportunities, etc.
Coordinate employee onboarding and off-boarding.
Maintain human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases, leave entitlements, etc. in our digital HRIS system, Employment Hero.
Providing support with the calculations and processes for the payment of commissions and bonuses.
Ad hoc HR admin tasks – HR related documentation and reporting, creating contracts and contract variations, preparing various HR letters and position descriptions, supporting with yearly WGEA and employee engagement survey assessment, preparing for brand audits, etc.
About you
Payroll experience is essential along with impeccable attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
Experience in using Employment Hero and/or EI is highly desirable.
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
