RJE Global is currently going through an exciting growth period with a strong pipeline of projects and hence we are seeking a motivated Electrical Design Drafter to support the Engineering team to successfully deliver a pipeline of high‐profile renewable energy and power utility engineering projects.
About the Job:
RJE Global is currently seeking a meticulous Electrical Design Drafter to join our team. Reporting to the Design / Drafting Team Leader, this position offers a terrific opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to diverse projects. As an Electrical Design Drafter, you will play a key role in the development of electrical drawings and documentation critical to project delivery. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and on‐site teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce high‐quality electrical drawings using MicroStation, AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting tools, including single line diagrams, electrical schematics, panel layouts, and substation layouts.
Prepare detailed production drawings to support manufacturing processes.
Develop and coordinate the interface between structures and equipment being installed in the structures.
Ensure timely delivery of documentation aligned with tight project schedules.
Provide support for tendering, manufacturing, and construction teams concerning details on design drawings.
Adhere to industry standards, company protocols, and project‐specific requirements.
About you:
Essential criteria & experience required:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft packages.
Eminent experience in AutoCAD, including creating detailed technical drawings and understanding complex design specifications.
Proven experience in MicroStation is highly desired.
