CJD Equipment are currently seeking an experienced
Warehouse / Store Person
to join our highly motivated Alice Springs Branch This is a great opportunity to join a market-leading national business who will support you to develop and grow your skills and build a career in warehousing.
With exposure to brands such as Kenworth and Isuzu, this role incorporates all facets of warehousing, including both the physical and administrative aspects of receiving, picking and dispatching items as required.
Other duties include:
Pick and pack customer orders for pickup, delivery or dispatch
Organise dispatch for both local and interstate freight
Receiving incoming freight including stock orders, and receipting into inventory system
Putting away incoming stock and assigning to pending customer orders
Liaising with multiple courier companies and adhering to courier pick up deadlines
Maintaining a clean and functional warehouse
Local parts delivery and collection when required
Ideally, you will have:
A safety focus, with a positive attitude and drive to succeed in the role
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in the use of computer programs (Outlook, Excel, Word)
The ability to work well under pressure and be a team player
A forklift licence (recommended but not essential)
Current Driver's Licence
Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and provide a Police Clearance
