We are seeking a Project Planner in Sydney to support the delivery of large-scale Transmission and Distribution projects.
This role will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules, ensuring accurate planning and reporting to support on-time and successful project delivery.
The Project Planner will work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to provide insights that drive Australia’s energy transition. Responsibilities:Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.Monitor project progress against baseline schedules, identifying delays and risks.Provide regular progress reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to project leadership.Collaborate with project teams to optimise sequencing, resource allocation, and timelines.Support claims, extensions of time, and risk assessments with accurate planning data.Ensure compliance with project controls processes and reporting standards.
Required Experience: Proven experience as a Project Planner or Scheduler within the energy sector ideally in transmission & distribution.Solid knowledge of project planning methodologies, scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project), and project controls.Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.Ability to analyse project data, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.Understanding of contract frameworks and their impact on planning and reporting.
Qualifications:Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (preferred but not essential).
