We are seeking a Project Planner in Sydney to support the delivery of large-scale Transmission and Distribution projects.
This role will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules, ensuring accurate planning and reporting to support on-time and successful project delivery.
The Project Planner will work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to provide insights that drive Australia's energy transition.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
* Monitor project progress against baseline schedules, identifying delays and risks.
* Provide regular progress reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to project leadership.
* Collaborate with project teams to optimise sequencing, resource allocation, and timelines.
* Support claims, extensions of time, and risk assessments with accurate planning data.
* Ensure compliance with project controls processes and reporting standards.
Required Experience:
* Proven experience as a Project Planner or Scheduler within the energy sector ideally in transmission & distribution.
* Strong knowledge of project planning methodologies, scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project), and project controls.
* Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.
* Ability to analyse project data, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
* Understanding of contract frameworks and their impact on planning and reporting.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (preferred but not essential).
