About The Role
We're looking for a commercially minded, hands‐on leader to drive step‐change cost efficiency and improved economics across our Print & Create (P&C) network. This is not a purely strategic role you'll be a doer. You'll identify opportunities, build the case, and lead initiatives end‐to‐end to deliver real, measurable outcomes. Working across Finance, Operations, and Print & Create SMEs, you'll translate insights into action while protecting customer experience and quality. This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney, with flexibility to work across locations as required.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities across the Print & Create network
2. Build cost‐to‐serve insights (labour, freight, consumables, equipment, waste) and pinpoint value leakage
3. Develop business cases with clear ROI, risks, and implementation plans
4. Lead network modelling (e.g. hub‐and‐spoke, centralisation, workflow redesign)
5. Conduct scenario analysis to balance cost, speed, quality, and customer outcomes
6. Own and deliver a prioritised roadmap of initiatives end‐to‐end
7. Lead cross‐functional execution across Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Tech, and site teams
8. Track, realise, and sustain benefits with strong governance and continuous improvement focus
About You
You're a strategic thinker who rolls up your sleeves and gets things done. You bring strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, and a proven ability to deliver results in complex operational environments.
9. Experience in print, production, or similar operational environments (preferred)
10. 8+ years in operations strategy, network optimisation, supply chain, or transformation
11. Proven delivery of end‐to‐end cost reduction initiatives with realised benefits
12. Strong analytical capability, including cost‐to‐serve and financial modelling
13. Experience in network design and scenario modelling
14. Demonstrated ability to lead cross‐functional programs and influence stakeholders
15. Continuous improvement mindset (Lean / Six Sigma desirable)
16. Strong commercial acumen with a hands‐on, results‐driven approach
