From Firefighting appliances, Toyota Landcruiser modules, Ambulances and specialised Rosenbauer Fire Appliances – the various vehicles will always keep you interested.
This role is based out of a Naval Base workshop with later potential to assist our field service division in both local and remote sites across WA.
Reporting to the Equipment and Asset Services Manager, you will undertake the following:
Key Responsibilities:
* Service & Maintenance: Perform servicing and maintenance on Fire trucks, Ambulances, Fast attacks and various firefighting equipment
* Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose, service, and repair electrical systems, hydraulics, valves, and a variety of pumps.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
* Hydraulic Maintenance: Repair and maintain hydraulic components of diesel and petrol engines used to power attachments.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, service, and repairs.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider team to ensure timely service and exceptional client satisfaction.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and procedures during service operations.
* Refurbishment: Refurbishment on older vehicles and off hired vehicles to enhance our fleet capabilities.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
* Mechanical and technical aptitude with required certificates
* Experience with Hydraulic systems, pumps, electrical systems and wide range of vehicle service history
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
* Ability to work independently in the Workshop / field and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and the ability to form partnerships with clients
* A valid HR driver's license
