About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team, providing maintenance support for grain storage and handling systems within the agricultural sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing scheduled maintenance programs, minimising downtime during critical periods, as well as breakdown services and site repairs.
The role will involve undertaking field work and providing comprehensive condition reports on silo and conveyor equipment, ensuring that our customers' operations run smoothly.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Maintenance inspections on structural and mechanical equipment
* Repairs, including mechanical, welding and fabrication
* Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure job requirements are met
* Relevant documentation completion and management
* Collaborate within the team to provide excellent client outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A trade qualification in a relevant field, such as Fitter, Boiler Maker or other Mechanical trade
* An ability to work independently and as part of a team
* An excellent customer service focus
* A strong problem-solving ability
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
