Job Description: Level 3 Engineer
Procision is looking for a Level 3 Engineer to fulfil a role in the organisation. A combination of skills and experience is desirable in the following areas, and we appreciate that some skills may exist, whilst others will need to be learned:
Azure and AWS Exposure
* Managing Servers and Virtual networks
* VPN Gateway and similar virtual firewalls
* Migration from Physical to virtual
Technical Skills
* HaloPSA (Ticket and time entry)
* Voice and SIP understanding

* Certifications / Demonstrated skills: Azure Certs preferred especially in
Networking Skills
* Routing and switching
* VLAN's and inter-VLAN routing
* Troubleshooting
* Network security: Understanding Firewall Logs
* Manage and control N-Central (N-Able)
Firewalls and Switches exposure
* Draytek
* WatchGuard
* Meraki
* Fortinet
* Sophos
* pfSense
* Cisco
* Grandstream products
* HP Procurve
Microsoft and Server Skills
* Dos and PowerShell skills
* DNS and Domain management
* Preferable Certifications: Equivalent Tertiary Certifications
* Looking for 4 years plus experience
Demonstrated experience will be highly regarded, and the ability to prove you are a fast learner - to pick up on areas that may be missing. Education and training is offered through employment, with subscriptions to groups such as CIAOPS, and the Microsoft Partner Portal Training. PABX and Voice education is also offered through the 3CX portal.
The right person for the role will be able to show historical career exposure to technologies listed above, along with a desire to learn, and a desire to help our clients with issues, assisting the level 1 and level 2 staff with escalated issues, and the ability to communicate professionally with clients to deliver projects in a timely manner.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, normal business hours. There is an after hours roster for on-call support, however the calls are infrequent – usually 1-5 a month.
