About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
* Human Resource Management: Support the day-to-day management of support staff, including recruitment, induction, training, workload monitoring, performance support, and coordination of relief and contract placements for both teaching and support staff.
* Workforce Planning & Compliance: Assist in identifying workforce needs, maintaining accurate staff records, tracking compliance training, managing Blue Card and ADO processes, and ensuring adherence to departmental policies, legislation, and procedural requirements.
* Financial Administration: Contribute to financial operations through data entry, maintenance of registers, timesheet and leave processing, and support regular budget reviews, purchasing, payment plans, and process improvement initiatives.
* Resource & Facilities Management: Assist in managing assets, resources, and facilities, including stocktakes, maintenance scheduling, facility hire, inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.
* Project & Operational Support: Collaborate with the Business Manager on capital works and minor projects, providing coordination, monitoring, and administrative support to ensure effective delivery of school operations and improvement initiatives.
About You:
* Strong knowledge and experience with OneSchool is essential.
* Prior experience as a Business Manager or Administrative Officer with a finance focus is highly desirable.
* Ability to work independently, set priorities, manage workflows, and meet processing deadlines.
* Familiarity with Department of Education policies, procedures, and finance requirements.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to discuss overdue debts with debtors
* Proficient in technology, particularly in using Microsoft Excel effectively.
