**Environmental Services Assistant - Staff Break Areas (Clayton)**
PM Shifts (Monday - Sunday)

**Our Journey**:
**Support Services is responsible for the provision of non-clinical services that includes food services, patient support, porters, cleaning, linen, pest control, central production kitchen, waste management, car parking, hygiene services and some retail services.
Monash Medical Centre, Clayton is seeking experienced Environmental Services Assistants to work in the staff break areas with PM shifts available.
**Shifts**
**Monday - Sunday 2.00pm - 8.30pm**

Responsibilities can include but not limited to:
- Environmental cubic cleaning
- Bathroom and toilet cleaning
- Cleaning in specialized areas or project cleaning
- Internal and external detailed cleaning
- Project and unscheduled cleaning
**On a Personal Level**:
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Holds a strong commitment to working effectively as part of a team
- Takes pride in your work with great attention to detail
- Has great time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
**What you need**:
- Certificate III Health Services Assistance _(desirable)_
- Certificate III Cleaning Services _(desirable)_
- An excellent understanding of cleaning methodologies and infection control procedures
- Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience within a healthcare setting
- Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures
- Able to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling
- A high standard of demonstrated experience in customer service and cleaning in a healthcare environment
- Ability to work with a cohesive team or individually to complete daily tasks
- Excellent understanding of infection control procedures
- Basic to intermediate computer/digital skills
