Role and Location

About you
Chef: minimum 2 years of experience in a cafe or restaurant environment is required.
Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or higher.
Kitchen Assistant: minimum 1 year prior experience required.
Ideally a certificate in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality.
Responsibilities
Kitchen organisation: manage the workflow and meet preparation targets, complete food safety checklists and other OH&S; procedures, order stock and food items for the store.
Creative culinary flair; experience in planning and executing exciting menus.
Able to work in a rapid paced environment and an ability to work autonomously.
Sound food safety and hygiene knowledge; high attention to detail.
A fun, hardworking and energetic attitude towards work; demonstrated understanding of the Merlo workplace culture.
