Aboriginal Psychologist Opportunity
This challenging role offers a unique chance to work with Aboriginal young people, their families and community in a holistic and culturally sound manner.
The successful applicant will be responsible for advocating for the psychosocial health needs of Aboriginal young people, their families and community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver psychological assessment, intervention, and therapeutic services to young people who offend.
* Provide consultancy service to staff regarding the psychological needs of Youth Justice clients within custodial and community locations.
Requirements:
* Minimum four-year accredited qualification in psychology is essential.
* Current provisional or full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is required.
* A current Driver's Licence with ability and willingness to travel throughout NSW is necessary.
* Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance is also required.
* Aboriginality is highly valued in this position.
