Responsibilities
* Taking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
* Designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity.
* Identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programmes that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
* Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
* Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications
* Registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways.
* Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
* Commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers.
* Willingness to work in the community (must have a driver's licence and access to own vehicle).
* Current or able to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
