The role involves providing high-quality clinical care to paediatric and neonatal patients, working collaboratively with a team of expert clinicians.
Duties include leading patient-centred care, contributing to clinical governance, policy development and service improvement.
1. Mentorship opportunities exist for registrars, residents and interns.
2. Active participation in policy development and service improvement is expected.
A vital on-call component allows impact in emergency situations including neonatal medicine. Experience working with Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialists is desirable.
