Engineer Equipment In-Service (Junior Engineer, Senior Engineer or Technical Officer)

About the Role
As a member of the Airframe Equipment & Integration team, you will play a key role in delivering engineering outcomes that maintain, enhance, and sustain Airbus Defence platforms. Reporting to the Team Lead, Equipment In-Service, you will work within a collaborative engineering team to:
* Provide Airframe Equipment & Integration Engineering support to appointed Business Lines.
* Develop and deliver design solutions, using a Systems Engineering philosophy, in accordance with your delegated engineering authority.
* Support the continuing airworthiness of Airbus aircraft by developing and improving CAM-SO (Continuing Airworthiness Management - Service Organisation) and MDO (Military Design Organisation) products and services.
* Assist in the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards of safety and quality.
* Contribute to workshops and initiatives that drive business objectives and ensure alignment with Airbus' strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain airworthiness documentation, technical instructions, and engineering artefacts in compliance with customer, regulatory, and Airbus standards.
* Apply a safety-first mindset in all activities, promoting a positive and proactive safety culture.
* Deliver products and services that balance innovation with cost-effectiveness.
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Design, CAM Services, and Maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with all Airbus processes, systems, and tools, as well as the Airbus Code of Conduct.
* Lead by example, demonstrating and living Airbus values in day-to-day work.
About You
We are seeking candidates who bring expertise aligned to their career stage:
* Junior Engineers (0-2 years' experience) - Recently graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (preferably Aerospace/Aeronautical or Mechanical). You have strong foundations in systems engineering, a willingness to learn, and the drive to gain engineering delegation.
* Senior Engineers - Experienced professionals with a track record of delivering engineering solutions in aviation or defence environments. You bring deep knowledge of systems engineering, regulatory frameworks (DASR, CASA, CAANZ), and cost drivers, with the ability to lead and mentor.
* Technical Officers - Experienced aviation professionals (non-degree or equivalent experience) with strong technical expertise, continuing airworthiness knowledge, and proven ability to support engineering and CAM-services functions.
