About the Role
Broadview Football Club is seeking an experienced, motivated and community-focused Bar & Facility Manager to lead our bar operations, venue management and game-day hospitality.
This is a key leadership role within our Club, responsible for ensuring our facilities operate professionally, efficiently and in line with our values. As the face of the Club, you will build strong relationships with members, players, volunteers, sponsors and the wider community while delivering a welcoming and high-quality hospitality experience.
The role requires flexibility to meet the demands of the football season, including evenings and weekends, with workload variations across the year.
Key Responsibilities
Bar & Hospitality Operations
Oversee day-to-day bar operations and customer service
Manage ordering, stock control, deliveries and inventory
Cash handling, floats and EFTPOS reconciliation
Ensure RSA compliance, liquor licensing obligations and incident reporting
Supervise, roster and train bar staff and volunteers
Manage and maintain BePoz POS systems (experience preferred)
Football Season & Game-Day Management
Lead bar operations across Senior Men's, Senior Women's, Inclusive Men's and Juniors home matches
Represent the Club professionally with members, officials and sponsors
Support presentation days and major Club events
Facility & Function Management
Manage venue hire enquiries, bookings and event coordination
Liaise with hirers, caterers, contractors and service providers
Ensure Clubrooms and surrounding areas are clean, safe and presentable
Support maintenance, safety and operational compliance requirements
Skills & Experience
Experience in bar management, hospitality or venue operations
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
Experience with BePoz POS and Tyro systems (highly regarded)
Competence in stock control and inventory management
RSA certification
Working with Children Check
Police clearance
Availability to work evenings and weekends, including all home games during football season
Employment Conditions
This is a full-time salaried position governed by the Registered & Licensed Clubs Award (MA ). Salary and conditions incorporate relevant Award inclusions, including overtime, penalty rates (excluding public holidays), higher duties, broken shift allowances and leave loading in accordance with an Award Flexibility Agreement.
