Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate on-site personnel to ensure seamless project execution
* Provide timely phone support for clients requiring expert assistance
* Bolster customer confidence through outstanding service delivery
* Embark on site work that may involve extended periods away from home, sometimes up to 2-3 weeks
* Participate in an on-call roster, ensuring round-the-clock coverage
* Conduct thorough technical investigations in response to customer needs
* Compile high-quality investigation reports that exceed expectations
* Offer expert advice to customers, addressing complex matters with tact and professionalism
* Collaborate on larger DeltaV implementation projects when required
* Deliver system and software upgrades, often on-site with existing clients
* Support other branches as needed, leveraging expertise to drive results
* Adhere to SMO operating procedures and PMO templates for applicable work scopes
* Pursue ongoing professional development to stay abreast of product lines
* Maintain accurate documentation for all service or project-related tasks
Requirements
* On-site technical maintenance experience on DCS systems, preferably DeltaV
* Chemical or electrical engineering degree, trade certificate, or relevant apprenticeship
* Proven diagnostic and problem analysis skills within DCS environments
* Expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, installation, configuration, integration, and application issues
* Strong fault-finding, minor upgrade, repair, and maintenance capabilities
