Full time CSSD Technician role availableDeliver outstanding customer service as part of our supportive person centred teamAbout the roleAre you an experienced CSSD Technician who is self-motivated and enthusiastic?We are currently seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to join our dynamic perioperative team on a full time basis.Key responsibilities will include:Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areasComply with AS / NZ standards 4187 2014, GENCAOperate, interpret and document all machinery operational requirementsReport and document all quality activitiesEnsure priority of instrumentation and processesMinimum Requirements:3 years’ experience as CSSD technician (desirable)Sound knowledge of AS / NZ 4187 2014Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentationExperience with tracking systemsEndoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learnDemonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organisational skills and attention to detailIntermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various databases and interest in promoting best practice patient careA focus on professional developmentWhy Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
