About the Role
The Events Manager represents PHT and our supplier partners at the highest level of professionalism, and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all major PHT events.
You will manage all logistical and operational requirements on a wide range of events, such as travel expos, conferences, product launches, supplier and staff events, training sessions, and other leadership-driven initiatives.
Based at our Glenelg head office, you will work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to develop new and creative concepts for each event to maximise outcomes of sales brand and future clients, supplier, and staff ambassador opportunities.
The role will require flexibility to work outside of normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm), including weekends.
Roles and Responsibilities
Professional execution of all PHT events
Liaise with venue hospitality, event and marketing team, suppliers, contractors and PHT staff to ensure the needs and requirements of all parties involved are met and exceeded
Manage the cost of events ensuring budgets are adhered to at all times
Coach and support the Events team
Build PHT brand reputation whilst driving sales

About you
Experience
Events Manager or similar role
Demonstrated understanding and experience in event planning, coordination and delivery
Proficient in developing and managing budgets
Demonstrated experience and confidence in procuring event sponsorship
Experience in use of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
Able to work weekends and outside of normal business hours
Willing to be hands on in all aspects of Event delivery
Creative and quick thinking
Passionate about travel
Skills
Organised and thorough with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent customer service ethic with a high level of professionalism
Proven sales ability
Initiative and flexibility
Ability to problem solve
Strong written and verbal communication
Able to work in a team and independently
Able to build rapport and negotiate with colleagues, clients and suppliers
