You'll have a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for high quality work.
Responsibilities
* Lead, direct, monitor, and mentor the team to deliver safe and sustainable works for civil construction and maintenance projects, as well as contract works associated with roads, drainage, footpaths, cycleways, carparks, street and roadside furniture and any other assets as directed to meet the program requirements for internal customers while maintaining job satisfaction.
* Undertake maintenance and minor construction of roadside and drainage related civil infrastructure in accordance with Service Agreements / Project Schedules
* Complete asset inspections, schedule and implement maintenance tasks of piped and open drainage, GPTs and infiltration systems, guide posts, culverts and chemical spraying on local and RMS roads.
Qualifications
* A Certificate III in Civil Construction and/or relevant experience
* Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
* Possess or have the ability to obtain accreditations such as ChemCert, Traffic Controller, Implement Traffic Control plans, Safe Work Near Power Lines, First Aid Certificate
