The Red Lion Hotel is searching for an experienced and motivated Gaming & Wagering Manager to lead our Sports bar and Gaming Lounge.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic management team within one of Ballarat’s busiest hospitality venues.
About the Role
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Gaming Lounge and Sports bar while driving compliance, staff performance, promotions and guest experience. No weekends or nights.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and developing the gaming team
* Ensuring all gaming operations remain compliant
* Managing gaming promotions and customer engagement
* Staff training and mentoring
* Product and service development
* Opening/closing procedures and gaming reconciliation
* Working closely with venue management and marketing teams
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a Gaming or Wagering leadership role
* Strong understanding of gaming compliance and operations
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment
* Current Gaming, TAB and Keno accreditations
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
