About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to carry out auto electrical installation, assembly and fault-finding across new and rebuilt crane equipment.
Reporting directly to the Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
* Assembly of control panels, wiring looms and associated systems
* Installation of electrical harnesses and components
* Assisting in prototype builds of new machinery
* Integration of electrical systems into vehicles
* Ensuring a safe working environment
* Fault finding and troubleshooting
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience working on heavy vehicles/equipment (12V and 24V systems)
* Trade qualification as an Automotive Electrician (Cert III or equivalent)
* Ability to manufacture wiring looms and control panels
* Strong understanding of electrical circuit diagrams
* Proven fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
* Basic computer and hand tool skills
In addition, you will:
* Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Take pride in the quality of your workmanship
* Hold a valid Australian driver's licence
* Be reliable and punctual
