Hays Recruitment Bendigo are working with a well-known and respected organisation focused on community support. The organisation is requiring an experienced Management Accountant to join the team for an initial 3-month contract, with the opportunity to progress into a full-time opportunity.
In this senior finance leadership position, you will oversee the full spectrum of financial operations, including monthly and annual reporting, budget development, and audit preparation.
You will lead a dedicated finance team, foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership.
What you'll need to succeed
* Professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA)
* Extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
* Proven leadership and team development capabilities
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel proficiency
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and not-for-profit finance (desirable)
