We're on the lookout for a full timeRelief Cook/Community Manager to join our team across our Victoria Gardens sites. Whilst the primary site isGrovedale, there may be instances where travel to other sites is required: Geelong, Warrnambool, Ballarat, Melton, and Carrum Downs.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting our communities during periods of annual leave, helping us deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and residents, and having fun while doing it
This is a unique dual role which allows you the opportunity to get hands on with the cooking as well as leading the community for fill-in periods.
In this Role
This role combines cooking duties with community leadership across VIC sites. Travel across VIC sites with allowances provided.
* Lead daily operations and foster a welcoming community culture
* Prepare and serve meals that meet dietary and safety standards
* Support resident wellbeing through great food and great service
* Manage contractors, compliance, and site presentation
* Travel across VIC sites with allowances provided
You're Likely a Match
* Have a passion for cooking and community care
* Have some leadership experience in hospitality or residential services
* Have strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Have flexibility to travel and adapt across multiple locations
* Have Food Safety Supervisor & First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
You're someone who brings energy, ideas, and a genuine passion for making a difference. You love working with people, solving problems, and creating moments that matter.
