We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the dynamic and supportive Allied Health team based at Griffith. You will work with a range of clients across the medical and surgical units and help to make a real impact in our communities' lives. You'll also be able to connect with a network of Occupational Therapists across the district, to provide collegial support and advice.
Responsibilities
* Provision of a comprehensive and effective occupational therapy service in collaboration with consumers, their families and carers using a range of clinical and professional interventions.
* Involvement in the planning, implementation and evaluation of services and identification, development and leading of clinical practice and quality improvement activities with other staff.
* Providing clinical and team leadership within the daily running of the Griffith Base Hospital.
* Provide clinical supervision and support to Level 1/2 Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants & students on clinical placement as required.
Employment Details
Employment Type: Temporary Full Time or Part Time (until 31 December 2026) (Casual opportunities available also)
Position Classification: Occupational Therapist – Level 3
Remuneration: $116,892.00 - $120,680.00 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)
Hours Per Week: up to 38

Ideal Candidate
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and a current AHPRA registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
* Advanced clinical knowledge, skills and experience across a range of areas, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.
* Experience in clinical and team leadership, including experience in staff and student supervision.
