Your new role
As a Plant Mechanic, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and commissioning diesel and hydraulic systems across customer sites and in the workshop. You'll work semi-autonomously, managing your own workload while collaborating with a skilled team to deliver efficient, high-quality service. This role also involves mentoring apprentices, contributing to a positive team culture, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
* Trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics or similar
* MR Driving Licence and High Risk Forklift Licence
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Experience with hydraulic systems and fault-finding
* Basic computer literacy
* Effective communication and customer service skills
* Proactive, safety-first mindset with strong initiative
* Ability to contribute to a positive, values-aligned workplace culture
