Adviser, Clients & Markets role at Clayton Utz
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Adviser to join our Clients and Markets (C&M) team, supporting the Dispute Resolution Practice Stream located in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with industry-leading partners and senior C&M leaders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
* Regularly assist the relevant practice managers to identify, pursue and convert opportunities, cross-practice group initiatives
* Collaborating with relevant internal stakeholders to develop and manage client relationships
* Assist with market analysis and related research
* Assist with the management of, and drafting of tenders and bid opportunities
* Support with the development of firm directory and award submissions
* Support and participate in various C&M firm wide projects and initiatives as required
* Developing a profile and credibility with internal clients (i.e. lawyers and other employees)
Skills & Experience
* 2-3+ years in a similar role in business development or related experience (ideally in a professional services/corporate environment) or demonstrated transferable experience in a professional services environment
* Tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline, marketing, communications or law highly regarded
* Collaborator and connector with the ability to build relationships across all levels
* Highly developed communication skills, both written and oral with strong attention to detail
* Discipline to prioritise and manage a range of complex tasks in a deadline-driven environment
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels
* Technical skills in Microsoft Office and a sound understanding of databases

The Clients and Markets team provides advice and services to the business across the full spectrum of marketing and business development - from brand awareness and design, media and communications, events, research and analysis, opportunity identification, pursuits and bid management to key client account management.
