Rotating Shifts:
* Day: 6:00am - 2:00pm
* Afternoon: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
* Night: 10:00pm - 6:00am
About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely performing manufacturing functions within our extrusion facility, ensuring that quality control measures are met consistently.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operate equipment and perform tasks in line with site Work Instructions / Safe Operating Procedures
* Ensure product quality and packaging standards are maintained and comply with delivery targets
* Participate in training to become a multi-skilled team member
* Communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiatives
* Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Environment (SH&E)
ESSENTIAL
* Understanding of basic safety principles
* Ability to work autonomously and maintain a high level of activity across all shifts
* Demonstrated experience in working in a team environment
* Basic understanding of quality principles
DESIRABLE
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience with automated machineryAbility to identify problems and resolve or contribute to resolution thereof
* Forklift licence
* Experience and knowledge of material handling
* Basic computer literacy skills
