Job Description
As the Capability Design Lead, you'll lead a team of capability and learning professionals responsible for designing modern, adult‐focused learning experiences that lift performance across customer‐facing claims teams. You will;
* Lead and develop a team of learning and capability specialists
* Set capability priorities aligned to business strategy and operational need
* Design and embed contemporary learning solutions that stick
* Identify and address systemic capability gaps across claims operations
* Partner closely with operational leaders, quality, technical experts and enterprise L&D
* Champion modern learning methods, innovation, and continuous improvement
* Manage resourcing, workflow, and delivery to meet operational expectations
The Successful Applicant
* Tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent - mandatory)
* Track record with across learning design, digital learning, or capability frameworks
* Significant experience (generally 7+ years) in capability or learning roles within complex organisations
* Experience in claims, insurance, personal injury, or another regulated, customer‐facing environment
* A track record of delivering capability initiatives that drive real, measurable business outcomes
* Credibility with senior stakeholders and the ability to influence at pace
* An outcomes‐focused, collaborative leadership style
