We're looking for a people-person with strategic smarts to lead the coordination, recruitment and support of our dedicated volunteer workforce. If you're driven by purpose, love working with people, and enjoy balancing strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do:
As theVolunteer Manager – Bush For Life, you will:
Lead with strategy to drive recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers across our Bush For Life program
Maintain and improve our volunteer database and management systems
Coordinate training logistics and support events and activities
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to promote and strengthen the volunteer experience
Analyse volunteer feedback and data to inform continuous improvement
Be the heart and engine room of our much-loved Bush For Life volunteer community
What you'll bring:
Demonstrated experience in volunteer coordination, stakeholder engagement, or community programs
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organisation and multitasking abilities — you're calm in a storm and love good systems
Working knowledge of WHS requirements for volunteers
A love for nature and a genuine interest in conservation and community
Confidence using CRM systems, MS Office and online survey tools
Bonus points for experience in the environmental or NFP sector
