Responsibilities:
Lead and execute climate risk assurance reviews, including assessment of systems, data integrity, scenario analysis, and financed emissions.
Ensure timely delivery of audit engagements within budget, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Align audit activities to internal and external climate risk developments, including emerging regulations.
Contribute to the annual internal audit plan and resource allocation based on business risk profiles.
Build strong, constructive relationships with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, and Finance functions.
Drive understanding of climate-related risks across IA and the wider business.
What you'll need to succeed:
Extensive experience in risk management frameworks, operational risk, compliance, and delivery risk.
Proven track record leading complex audits or risk projects, preferably in technology or financial services.
Strong understanding of climate risk, regulatory obligations, and banking/finance industry practices.
Expertise in risk and control analysis across complex business processes.
Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills, including experience engaging senior leaders.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and drive innovative assurance practices.
