Entity Governance and Compliance (EGC) is a division within Computershare Entity Solutions (CES), part of the Issuer Services business unit. EGC provides a range of corporate secretarial services to listed and non-listed corporate clients.

Step into an exciting opportunity where you can play a pivotal role in expanding a market-leading business You'll be accountable for driving growth in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) EGC teams, with the potential to oversee the Hong Kong team in future, while also enhancing our established Issuer Services brand, which includes Share Registry and Investor Engagement. This position is essential to our global Issuer Services strategy at Computershare, making it a vital part of our vision for growth and success. Join us and make a lasting impact

Your key accountabilities:

* Develop and lead the growth of the EGC ANZ business, providing a range of services across those markets.
* Utilise your professional network and existing Computershare client relationships to drive business development initiatives, fostering revenue growth for EGC services
* Share insights on EGC topics and lead on client networking events and thought leadership to raise awareness of our services
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and identify cross-selling opportunities to boost EGC revenues
* Lead on IPO and other high profile/value client projects effectively
* Collaborate with Issuer Services leadership to integrate EGC offerings into local sales programs
* Manage the P&Ls for EGC in ANZ, including budgeting, KPIs and financial performance reporting
* Enable profitable growth through efficiencies, cost management and driving business KPIs
* Maintain the EGC ANZ sales pipeline, leading and supporting client proposals and negotiating service contracts
* Work closely with global EGC leadership and senior members of the EGC team to develop our service offerings, team capability, client contracting arrangements, pricing strategy, quality controls, delivery processes, tools and materials
* Lead, develop and motivate the EGC AsiaPac teams, providing direction and support on client engagements and other projects as required
* Contribute to global client engagements and related business initiatives as part of the Entity Solutions strategy and network
* Potential to oversee and develop the EGC Hong Kong team, dependent on the needs of the business over time (primary focus in ANZ)

What will you bring to the role?

Effective leadership is one of the most important elements for success of this Managing Director role. Being able to bring people together to work collaboratively will be your superpower, and you will be transparent in your expectations of your team.

Some other key experience you'll have:

* Proven track record of successfully leading and expanding a profitable Company Secretarial or similar business
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, coupled with strong numerical, analytical, and comprehension abilities
* Proficient in advanced IT applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Knowledge and experience of using legal entity management, board portal and insider management software and other technology to support company secretaries
* Awareness of legal, regulatory and governance trends and developments
* Effective business, financial and risk management skills
* Meticulous attention to detail and some evaluative judgment based on best practice and previous experience
* Proven ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues, showcasing strong influencing skills across all organizational levels
* Demonstrated resilience, maintaining composure under pressure, with a proactive mindset and an ability to think and act strategically and commercially while safeguarding the company's reputation
