Receptionist and Student Services Officer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our Junior School administration team as a Receptionist and Student Services Officer. This role is central to ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional support to students, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service to families, students, and visitors by greeting and assisting them with professionalism and care.
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and messages with accuracy and timeliness.
* Handle mail distribution and general communication tasks.
* Act as the first point of contact for all enquiries.
* Perform banking duties, including receipting payments and tuck shop monies.
* Maintain petty cash and process reimbursements.
Student Services:
* Oversee daily student attendance and absentee management.
* Coordinate campus bus procedures and daily rolls.
* Administer First Aid and manage the student sickbay, including medical plans (Anaphylaxis, Asthma).
* Maintain accurate student records and medical alerts.
* Order and manage stationery supplies for students and staff.
* Assist with administrative tasks related to excursions, camps, and enrolments.
* Support teaching staff with general admin needs.
* Organise and manage lost property.
* Carry out other duties as directed by the Head of Campus.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in a school or customer-facing administrative role.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems.
* A caring and student-focused approach.
* First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
