We are one of the fastest-growing, Australian-owned kitchen appliance businesses in the country.

Reporting to the head of product department, this role is responsible for warehouse-based product quality inspection and reporting, ensuring all incoming and outgoing products meet company and regulatory standards, also supporting product development and providing technical support for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct incoming goods inspection (IQC) on products received at the warehouse
* Identify and document defects, non-conformances, and quality issues
* Report quality issues to factories and suppliers (local and overseas)
* Follow up with suppliers on corrective actions and improvements
* Conduct product testing to verify functions and statutory compliance where required
* Prepare and manage product documentation for internal and external use
* Assist in testing new product samples and pre-production units
* Provide technical support to the after-sales/service team
* Provide practical feedback on structure, assembly quality, usability, and potential risks

About You:


The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, pay close attention to detail, have excellent communication skills and be a well-rounded team player. To be successful in this role you will be a team player, thriving on challenge and have the desire to excel in all endeavours.


Essential:

* Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin (to communicate with factories in China)
* Experience in warehouse QA, product inspection, or quality control
* Strong hands-on ability with mechanical aptitude
* Basic understanding of electrical and appliance systems
* Ability to identify cosmetic, assembly, and functional defects
* Experience writing reports and documenting findings
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Good communication skills for supplier feedback and issue follow-up


Desirable:

* Experience inspecting electrical appliances or similar products
* Experience working with overseas manufacturers
* Experience in Adobe InDesign & Illustrator
