Solutions Architect Role Overview

* As a Solutions Architect, you will design and develop cutting-edge satellite communications solutions to meet the needs of our international government clients.

Key Responsibilities:
">

* Develop solutions that meet specific customer requirements utilizing existing or newly developed hardware, product configurations, and/or services.
">
* Collaborate with functional teams outside of International Government as needed to bring new hardware and services into operation.
">
* Provide technical guidance, instruction, and mentoring of less experienced engineering staff within the International Government engineering team.
">
* Provision of timely and insightful technical input into the preparation of tender responses.
">
* Specification, documentation, and implementation of hardware solutions for mobile and fixed satellite services, particularly the Inmarsat GX satellite service.
">
* Development and build of customer solutions prior to handing over to the operations team for in-life support.
">
* Specification, documentation, and implementation of hardware solutions for IP networking over satellite.
">
">
Requirements:
">
">
* Must hold a relevant engineering degree with demonstrated ability in the satellite communications industry.
">
* Must be an Australian Citizen capable of achieving a Defence Clearance.
">
* Must have demonstrable experience in developing solutions in a pre-sales environment (bids/RFT's/RFQ's).
">
">
Desirable Skills:
">
">
* Experience in IT, particularly as it applies to satellite communications and networking.
">
* Proficient in the development of maintenance documentation and support programs for developed solutions based on OEM component documentation.
">
* Experiance of ILS systems particularly as they relate to ASDEFCON.
">
* Self-starter and innovative individuals required. Ability to push boundaries to find the best possible solutions to our customers' problems.
