To excel in this role, you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in ecology or other relevant degree At least 3 years of consulting experience in botanical surveys within Queensland A strong botany focus, ideally being suitably qualified to perform protected plant surveys as per Queensland's DES Flora Survey Guidelines Experience with the ground-truthing of Regional Ecosystems and leading BioCondition surveys Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical for preparing reports, engaging with stakeholders, and presenting findings Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and with multi-disciplinary professionals Demonstrated impact assessment experience within the Queensland and Commonwealth legislative systems. BAM accreditation and/or knowledge of NSW legislation and Plant Community Types Road project experience QLD renewable experience An ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to complex problems Post graduate degree in relevant area Experience in survey/flora experience in NSW (gives us flexibility to potentially bring them south to assist in the northern parts of NSW).
