Job Title: Material Controller
This role requires a strong background in logistics and supply chain management to oversee the flow of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as strong communication abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
The material controller will be responsible for processing customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, managing material ordering to align with production schedules and inventory levels, maintaining accurate stock control, and coordinating line feeding operations. Additionally, they will oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming goods, manage the dispatch of finished goods, and maintain accurate records of all material movements.
To succeed in this role, the individual should have proven experience in a materials/logistics position, preferably in manufacturing or production. They should also have a strong understanding of inventory control, order processing, and supply chain logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process customer orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
* Manage material ordering in alignment with production schedules and inventory levels.
* Maintain accurate stock control, including monitoring and reporting of inventory levels.
* Coordinate line feeding operations to deliver parts to production lines at the right time.
* Oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming goods.
* Manage the dispatch of finished goods, ensuring correct packaging and documentation.
* Maintain accurate records of all material movements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a materials/logistics role, preferably in manufacturing or production.
* Strong understanding of inventory control, order processing, and supply chain logistics.
