This dynamic unit provides expert assessment and care across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties.
As an RN you will take on a leadership role in coordinating care, supporting colleagues, and contributing to quality, safety, education and research. Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care in line with NMBA standards, legislation, and Sunshine Coast Health's values.
- Provide leadership in clinical practice, including coordinating care, delegating tasks, and mentoring ENs, AINs, students, and colleagues.
- Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement by identifying risks, participating in incident reviews, and contributing to best practice outcomes.
- Engage in education and professional development, supporting your own learning while providing health promotion, orientation, and teaching for others.
Salary between $82 753 - $106 144 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $41.73 - $53.53 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (Nurse Grade 5) (several full time and part time positions available).
