About The Role
Salvos Stores are seeking a values-driven Area Manager to provide leadership to Geelong and the surrounding areas.
The Area Manager will provide leadership to the area's retail teams and support the Regional Managers and other key stakeholders to drive delivery of strategic and operational objectives, including sales, surplus, safety, and community engagement.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this is a permanent, full-time role.
You will successfully
Collaborate with Regional Manager in setting area and store specific strategic agendas, aligning to Salvos Stores' Regional and National strategy, including development and execution of workforce and succession planning.Monitor and manage the performance of all stores and provide direction and support to ensure performance standards and targets are met, including eCommerce related performance and implement, drive and support relevant customer strategies within Area and stores.Develop, monitor, achieve and manage sales, expenditure, stock, and production KPIs and surplus budgets for the Area, including monitoring and achieving all stock and production KPIs and effectively managing area expenditure within budget and continually adopting proactive cost-effective measures.Manage new store openings, renewals, and closures aligned to Regional and Area strategic plans.Lead and oversee compliance with Salvos Stores policies and procedures.Drive recruitment of volunteers and employees to meet the needs of the organisation.You will have
A Diploma level qualification in Management, Business, or Retail (desired).Demonstrated experience and success in retail and leadership management.Demonstrated experience in multi-site retail management.Alignment with the values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.A valid driver's licence.What we offer
