HEAVY DIESEL WORKSHOP MANAGER
Perth – South of the River
$160K–$170K + Super + Benefits
This is not a role for someone looking to “step up eventually.”
This is for a proven operator who already knows how to run a high-performing heavy equipment workshop.
Our client is a well-established WA business with a strong reputation across the heavy civil sector, and they’re looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead the maintenance and reliability of a large mobile asset fleet.
We’re specifically looking for someone who has built a stable Perth-based career managing heavy civil equipment, understands the realities of keeping machines moving in WA conditions, and can lead teams without the ego.
The Fleet:
• Heavy civil and mobile plant equipment
• Earthmoving and civil construction assets
• Large-scale operational environment
The Role:
• Lead workshop operations and maintenance delivery
• Manage trades, scheduling, compliance, and asset reliability
• Drive workshop performance, safety, and culture
• Work closely with operations to minimise downtime and maximise fleet availability
• Monday to Friday position – no FIFO swings
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong heavy diesel mechanical background
• Demonstrated experience managing workshops and mobile assets
• Stable employment history within the Perth market
• Experience across heavy civil, mining services, earthmoving, or infrastructure sectors
• Hands-on leadership style with strong operational awareness
What’s On Offer:
• $160K–$170K salary package + super + benefits
• Long-term Perth-based opportunity
• South of the River location
• Established business with strong leadership and backing
• Genuine autonomy and influence within the operation
If you know Perth’s heavy equipment market and have the leadership capability to run a workshop properly, this is a role worth discussing.
