About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Catering Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of catering services and management of stores at a centre.
* Support the Site Catering Manager in the overall operation of the kitchen and ensuring compliance with food safety and health standards.
* Oversee the assembly, preparation and production of food requirements and service in an efficient manner to meet demands.
* Provide direction to catering assistants to ensure food is prepared to specification and on time, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
* Roster and supervise the Catering Services team, ensuring they are adequately trained and certified as required.
* E nsure the Catering Services team follows HACCP-based Food Safety Management Practices.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) or equivalent qualification, as well as a Food Handlers Certificate. They should also possess strong people management skills and extensive knowledge of food services and relevant products.
The successful candidate will be able to lead a team, demonstrate good communication skills, and work collaboratively to achieve goals.
Job Requirements
This is a full-time role, and the selected candidate will be expected to work according to the company's operational schedule.
