The opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Customer Services, the main purpose of this role is to design, develop and implement a training philosophy and program for Distribution and Member Experience, including development of training materials to improve the industry, product and technical skills of client facing staff across the Distribution and Member Experience teams, including delivery of presentations to Distribution partners to increase our client's perception of AIA's technical sales capabilities.
To do this successfully you will:
- Developing and implementing a training schedule that delivers improved product and technical skills for new starters within Distribution and Member Experience and existing staff within the Distribution and Member Experience division.
- In partnership with the National Manager and by doing a training needs analysis that anticipates external industry trends, develop a training program, including development of training materials.
- Supporting the rollout of product upgrades or strategic initiatives by undertaking training of staff
- Reviewing and implementing changes to the current suite of product and technical presentations and supporting material to enable Senior / Client Development Managers to better deliver the content.
- Analysing the effectiveness of any training and development to identify areas for improvement ensuring appropriate adult learning techniques and philosophies are used.
- Practical experience in a similar training role and areas of responsibility is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in developing a training program, rolling it out, testing and refining the program to meet business needs is essential.
- Private Health Insurance background, understanding of financial planning, superannuation, insurance or estate planning markets are highly desirable.
