About the role
This role sits within Financial Crime Surveillance (FCS) Change Delivery and is responsible for translating financial crime policy and regulatory reform like AML / CTF amendments into practical compliant procedures and controls.
You'll lead the development of guidance and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) ensuring alignment with policy and strategic objectives. You'll be a key partner to the Financial Crime Policy team providing operational insights and representing FCS in policy change discussions.
Working closely with transformation teams, business divisions and project delivery chapters you'll help drive consistent best-practice implementation of change initiatives. This includes supporting the AML / CTF Reform Programme uplifting governance frameworks and contributing to training and communication strategies.
This is a full-time 12-month Fixed-term opportunity based in Sydney with travel required between Kent Street and Parramatta – Kent Street being the primary location.
Requirements
Strong understanding of financial crime policy, AML / CTF regulation and operational governance
Experience in change delivery project frameworks and stakeholder engagement
Ability to translate complex policy into actionable procedures and controls
Strategic and tactical thinking with a collaborative delivery-focused mindset
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams
Familiarity with automation, data-driven insights and industry best practices
