Support Worker – Social & Community Access + Personal Care (Mandurah / Rockingham)
Boutique Disability Services | Casual / Part-Time | 10–20 hrs per week
Are you a warm, reliable Support Worker who loves helping people live bigger, more connected lives? We're looking for someone to support NDIS participants in the Mandurah and Rockingham area, with a strong focus on social and community access and personal care.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, relationship-based support, and being part of a genuinely caring team.
About the role:
You'll be working alongside participants to build independence, confidence, and meaningful community connections. Supports may include:
* Social and community access (shopping, appointments, recreational activities, events)
* Building daily living skills and routines
* Transport support within the community
* Encouraging participation, choice, and control
* Supporting wellbeing through respectful, person-centred care
* Clear communication with the participant, team, and family/guardians as needed
Personal care supports (required)
This role may include personal care such as:
* Assistance with showering, toileting, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
* Support with mobility and transfers (where applicable)
* Prompting and respectful assistance to maintain dignity and independence
Experience with personal care is preferred, but if you have the right values and willingness to learn, we'll support you with guidance and training.
Shifts: approx. 10–20 hours per week
Availability needed: daytime, evening, and weekend supports.
What we're looking for (essential)
* Experience in social and community access supports (essential)
* A calm, respectful, and patient approach
* High-level spoken and written communication skills
* Ability to build trust and long-term professional relationships
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Working With Children Check (if applicable / or willingness to obtain)
* Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* First Aid / CPR (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong understanding of professional boundaries and participant dignity
