About The Role
By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a new workforce that is focused on developing a strong performance culture and a culture that values everyone's contribution equally. As a High Voltage Electrician you will be required to:
* Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of AC drive Electric Haul Trucks, workshops and facilities as directed in accordance with Thiess maintenance systems documentation.
* Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System.
* Completing General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Services and Component Change outs.
* Periodical Statutory Electrical Testing/ Inspections
* Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems.
* Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
* Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation
About You
As a successful applicant, you'll be a high-achieving safety-focused individual who enjoys delivering results in a dynamic environment. Your attention to detail coupled with your commitment to delivering high quality work will also ensure your success in this role. The ideal candidate will hold:
* Queensland Electrical Work Licence or equivalent
* HV Switching certification desirable
* Proven experience in a similar role in heavy industry or construction
* Current LVR/ CPR
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Current Standard 11
