What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll take ownership of managing accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting and governance to support business operations efficiently.
This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong technical accounting knowledge and a passion for process improvement.
Financial reporting and compliance: The role includes leading timely and accurate financial reporting, managing statutory reports, liaising with auditors and tax advisors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Financial controls and business support: Responsibilities cover maintaining internal controls, overseeing riskmanagement and cash flow, partnering with commercial teams for financial governance, and managing processes related to credit limits and supplier payments.
Leadership and process improvement: The Financial Controller leads and develops the finance team, fosters a culture of accountability, drives system and process improvements including automation, and manages capex reporting and processes.
What you'll bring
CPA/CA qualification with extensive experience in financial leadership, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
Deep knowledge of financial accounting, reporting standards, and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
Proven experience managing teams and business stakeholders.
High attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
Attention to detail and sound judgment in decision-making.
