As a Visual Merchandising/Activity Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Lead and manage a team of Visual Merchandising/Activity co-workers and inspire and challenge them to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation solutions in the store.
* Contribute to positioning the store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
* Provide home furnishing solutions for a single product or a combination of products to improve people's life at home.
* Demonstrate the uniqueness of the product range through visual merchandising competence and display techniques in different store media and activity areas to distance us from the competition.
* Work with vitality to motivate people to visit the store more frequently.
* Spare no effort in securing the use of the store layout as a commercial tool to plan and implement commercial strategies throughout the store while creating a good overview and strong visual impact.
* Recruit, develop, and lead your team by encouraging open, constructive, and honest feedback.
A deep passion for home furnishing and people's everyday lives at home. Higher education qualifications in visual merchandising or design, and a solid background of working as a visual merchandiser. Clear technical strengths, with experience working with SketchUp, AutoCAD and/or Revit. A leader who can engage people fully to reach set goals and generate growth and long-term profitability. Ability to prioritise and organise work and the work of others to make the most efficient use of time. Experience of working in a fast retail and customer-focused environment. Confident in communicating, influencing, and coaching others and continually seek new opportunities to improve the way we work, and encourage your team to do so.
