Joining Wholesome Solutions Pty Ltd as a Registered Nurse means taking on a pivotal role in delivering high-quality person-centred clinical care within the NDIS Sector. You will be part of a team focused on improving the health and well-being of our participants, ensuring they feel heard, cared for, and valued. This role is also responsible for ensuring all clinical operations align with current NDIS Practice Standards, relevant legislation, and best practice principles. This position may be offered as casual or part-time, according to your experience, suitability, and availability.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead internal clinical audits and quality assurance activities.
* Monitor clinical documentation and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NDIS and other relevant regulatory requirements.
* Oversee medication management systems and infection control procedures.
* Manage incident reporting processes, including investigation and clinical follow-up.
* Ensure all clinical services provided align with NDIS Practice Standards, relevant legislation, and organisational policies.
* Prepare for and participate in NDIS audits and external compliance checks.
* Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions where required.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed participant documentation in accordance with professional standards.
* Monitoring participants' health status and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties.
* Providing comprehensive nursing assessments and developing individualised care plans for participants.
What we're looking for:
* Current registration with AHPRA (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia) as a Registered Nurse (RN), with no conditions or restrictions.
* Experience working in the Community and/or NDIS sector is advantageous.
* Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with participants and their families.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Proficient in using technology, including electronic health records.
* Flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of our participants.
