About Activities Supervisor Role

Hamilton Island's premier island resort is seeking a customer service focused Activities Supervisor to oversee the Hamilton Island Bowling Alley.

This stand-alone role reports directly to the Island Activities Manager and is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys working independently. It's also a fantastic opportunity to build leadership skills, as this role offers room to show initiative and lead exciting projects to revamp and enhance the Bowling Alley experience.

Your Responsibilities

* Provide a friendly and approachable service to all guests making their experience more enjoyable, running the day-to-day of the outlet with support from the Island Activities Manager.
* Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner to make all those participating in the activity feel welcome.
* Ensure all guests are provided with game briefings and instructions on how to play including ball return.
* Table service during hire where possible.
* Prioritize the health and safety of all guests whilst they are in the facility.
* Pre-start equipment checks before opening the facility.
* Restock the bar fridge and food items.
* Assist guests with any questions they may have.
* Report any maintenance issues to the manager.
* Clean the facility.
* Carry out any other tasks directed by the manager and daily SOP requirements.
* Stock ordering on a weekly basis.

About You

* You will possess strong customer service background.
* Excellent communication skills are required.
* A current Queensland valid RSA Certificate is essential.
* You enjoy working independently and taking initiative in a solo environment.
